Who We Are

Located downtown in the historic Depot Square, the former Wichita Falls Railroad Museum hopes to reopen its gates to the public in 2023 as The Rail Yard at Depot Square.

The Rail Yard at Depot Square’s mission is to educate the public about the impact of the rail industry as it relates to Wichita Falls through a dedicated museum site with historically relevant exhibits and displays, including: locomotive engines and train cars, educational displays, varied program offerings, and community events.
